Instrument cluster refers to the dashboard gauge and warning-light assembly used in the Pontiac Fiero.

The instrument cluster displays important vehicle information such as speed, fuel level, engine temperature, warning lights, and other driver information depending on model year and equipment.

Overview

The Fiero instrument cluster is part of the interior and electrical system.

It provides visual information to the driver and receives signals from several sensors, senders, switches, and vehicle circuits.

Instrument cluster problems can be caused by faulty gauges, poor grounds, wiring faults, printed-circuit problems, bad senders, connector issues, or previous modifications.

The instrument cluster is mounted in the dashboard directly in front of the driver.
